Landed Properties and their Impact to the Residents

Landed and Non-Landed Properties with different Feng Shui expectation

"Both Landed Houses and Apartments will have their own strength and weakness..."

There is a Chinese Saying: 有地就有黄金. It is literally means that if you have land, you will have gold. In Feng Shui perspective, when your house is well located in a good external environment, you and members of the family staying in this house can benefit from it completing and not sharing with others, as you own the land and is "solely dedicated” to you and your loved ones.

Generally, there is common saying that for service apartment, condominium or public housing, the influence by Feng Shui could be shared among with all the households in the building. For example, if a building has 100 apartment units, all of residents in these units could be "sharing" the impact of Feng Shui and probably in different capacity.

This could mean that all the units in the building may benefit from their external landforms, but the quality are not be "shared" proportionally as the views of each units to these landforms changes with reference to their floor levels and facing directions.

Nevertheless, both Landed Houses and Apartments will have their own strength and weakness,  although the former could be more prominent when comparing to condominiums or apartments sitting on the same piece of land.

The probable Negative forms
If you are looking for a landed house as your dream home, you might want to know what are the negative features or forms that need to caution.

As landed houses are usually low-rise; about 2-4 storeys tall, they could be exposing to more negative forms; such as lampposts, tree outside their houses. In a landed enclave where houses are generally terraces, semi-detached, cluster houses, etc, their roofs could be seen just outside the windows. These are commonly known as xing-sha (形煞).

In addition, incoming roads, road exits and junctions could also be part of the Feng Shui equation as positive or negative forms. These can be a catalyst to improve your wealth and career luck or otherwise.

Note:
Road exits in the unfavorable direction can lead to the environmental affliction of the Eight Killings Force where it could result in wealth loss and/or health problems.

For Residential Landed and Cluster Housing, you might want to consider taking note of the location of the water bodies and the house architectural structure and location with its neighbours as part of your selection criteria to avoid or at least reduce the impact of negative forms.

Generally, the negativity could affect the well-being and wealth opportunities of the residents depending on the severities where it could be further aggravated by the annual afflictions, such as the Grand Duke (Tai-Sui 太岁or Five Yellow Sha (五黄煞).

The Five Yellow Sha (五黄煞is the most dangerous annual afflictions. Continuous using this affected sector could result in serious accidents and mishaps, aside from other issues and problems affecting your daily life.

Important to Note:
In 2018, the Five Yellow Sha will be residing in the North sector. Hence, North-South facing homes are most affected and need caution, especially for these homes that require renovation.
